Sea-train

The Sea Train is a tourist-only train made by remodeling an urban commuter train (CDC). It is the most popular tourist train along with the Baekdudaegan Gorge Train.

It is a 4-car 1 formation, and all seats are arranged towards the window facing the sea so that you can see the sea. In other words, they are all ocean views.

If you use the KTX from Seoul Station to Gangneung Station and take the sea train directly from Gangneungyeo, it would be a good choice for a one-day trip.

The sea train operates between Gangneung and Samcheok Beach. Except for the departure station, Gangneung Station, and the next station, Anin Station, you can see the sea like this.

The Sea Train stopped at Jeongdongjin Station.

Jeongdongjin Station, which was literally a rice cake on the other side of the drama ‘Hourglass’, is also the most popular station among the stations where the sea train stops.
